10 April 2025 – 18:30 – Members only – UZH, Zurich
General Assembly 2025
On the 10th of Aprile we had our first General Assembly and it was amazing to reconnect with our members.
We discussed and presented several topics about what has happened so far and what will happen in the near future of OSINT Switzerland.
We had the pleasure and honour to officially announce Leyla Ciragan as our first Advisory Board member. As we said during the meeting, it was love at first sight. From the moment we met Leyla, she fit in perfectly as a missing piece of the puzzle with her knowledge, attitude and ideas!
Our one and only Roman Schneider implemented in the past months and introduced our new association digital member JoeSint, a Discord bot who will:
- Challenge our members with intriguing mysteries, geolocation puzzles
- Help create and manage teams for OSINT competitions
- Keep us informed about upcoming events
Finally, we had the opportunity to listen to a fascinating presentation by Keto Schumacher. He gave us a behind-the-scenes look at SRF Data’s research “Tracking mobile phones with advertising data”.
We would like to thank everyone who supports us and helps to shape the future of the association!

And what strategies were used to deanonymize this data? The reported also reveals how to protect yourself from tracking.
